Set up your hardware to have RocketScreens automatically start when the device is turned on.
To have RocketScreens automatically start when hardware is powered on, you ay have to do some extra steps. It largely depends on the hardware manufacturer and the version of the Operating System. We have some examples below:
Google Devices
If not already automatically booting at startup, you may need to perform the following steps. These steps usually only apply to newer Google devices. Please note, the steps may vary by hardware or version of of the OS.
- Go to Settings
- Go to Apps
- Go to Special app access
- Find the option Display over other apps. This will show a list of Apps which can have this option enabled.
- Find RocketScreens and enable this option.
Amazon Devices
Amazon devices (e.g. Fire TV Stick) will automatically restart the RocketScreens player app upon device boot.
Desktop Player
Desktop Player apps are also configured, by default, to automatically restart when the device boots.
